  • 08:27 Ninja Golf for the Atari 7800: a game far ahead of its time, memetically speaking. Needs moar pirates, though. #
  • 08:55 Argh! CreateSpace rejected the anachronauts book cover. I hope we can use Jen’s great art, but the imposed limits are getting annoying. #
  • 09:38 ZOW, that’s a lot of Creedence. Let’s see, 9 songs I want times 160 MS points… may as well just buy the whole pack. #
  • 13:05 Played Beat Hazard (on sale today in the Steam store). it’s a bit TOO crazy visually, but it’s cheap and like AudioSurf, plenty fun. #
  • 13:13 Okay, yeah, DEFINITELY a good game. And songs that play well in AudioSurf play very well in Beat Hazard, too. (Notably Daft Punk.) #
  • 13:36 Man. NOT a game to play for long stretches. Got totally disoriented blasting sparkly aliens while playing Young Man Blues by The Who. Break. #
  • 14:54 1. Jen’s fighting CreateSpace tech support to say Yes, our cover is in fact okay. 2. Holiday in Cambodia is still megahard in any game. #
  • 17:02 Man, it’s like a steel cage match; Jen the Graphic Designer vs. CreateSpace Guys Who Don’t Get That We Already Did This The Way They Want. #
  • 23:28 Way too exhausted. Waking up at 9am on a vacation day is not my style. Turning in early. (One day I’ll be too damn old for latenighters.) #

The running commentary on the CreateSpace communication drama is amusing. :D
I still think our original cover met their guidelines… but you know, if they’re so non-confident in their ability to follow their own template, I think we’re better off giving them the extra border leeway. So I don’t see Version 2 as a concession, it’s just insurance. ;)

Oh, CreateSpace is for the hardcopy of Anachronauts? Somehow I missed that detail …

Yep! :D Stefan ordered the test copies so he should know soon if we need to adjust anything.
The new cover is shown here with crop marks:
